July 2023 Update

“He loved God, his family, he loved listening to music. The only person he would listen to was a person named Caleb Gordon. Cam also love to game. His favorite games to play were Fortnite, Apex and WWE. Gaming and music became the two things that gave Cameron peace through the relapse of his bone cancer. This time unfortunately chemotherapy wouldn’t be a factor because of how metastatic it was throughout his body. (He just rung the bell in March of this year). Cameron was the baby. He has two older brothers who he highly looked up [to]. He was an exceptional straight A student, his favorite subject was Science. Cameron would [have] been going into the 11th grade this year. Cameron took his last breath July 5th, 2023. He is extremely missed by many each and every day.

“A little about [our] circumstances. Cameron was diagnosed June of 2022. My husband and I decided, since Cam’s treatment would be all inpatient three weeks out of each month, I would become the primary caregiver while my husband continued to work. We thought it was a good plan. We made it work the best we could financially because we were too humbled to ask for help. This time with Cameron’s relapsed, so quickly, and the financial strain due to my husband having to take off work during the hard moments of Cam’s journey, to support us at the hospital I decided to put my prose down and ask for help. JUST TRYAN IT financial support came at a time where we had no clue how we were going to make ends meet once we came home after Cameron passed away. The support has allowed for us to grieve without the stress of worrying about the financial for this moment. I am truly thankful to JUST TRYAN IT for creating a foundation who thinks enough about families to take some of that burden away when they truly need to focus on their family members medical needs.”
-Cam’s mom, Pamela

JUST TRYAN IT provided an emergency grant to Cam’s family to help with funeral expenses.
