The training calendars are designed to prepare the triathletes over the course of 8 weeks. There are 2 workouts per week and they can be altered by changing the speed and/or intensity by which they are completed. We strongly encourage all of our athletes to stay fit and healthy by exercising regularly. Ask our trainer any specific questions.
Day Before Race Checklist
Prior to the race, please make sure your child’s bike is in safe and proper working condition. Check the air in tires, that the chain is lubricated, and the seat is properly fastened. We will have support on site the morning of the race to pump tires or assist with any last minute bike-related issues.

Affix racer number to bike
Parents are restricted from entering transition before and during the race. There will be plenty of volunteers on hand to help your racer set up. The transition area will open once the last biker has returned.

If you used the same email address for each child, you will be able to access them all from your single login. To login in, go to https://donate.justtryanit.com/login. Now, you should see a box on the left that says Organization’s I am Supporting. Click on JUST TRYAN IT and then the “Fundraisers” tab. You should see all your children listed there and can manage each page by selecting “Manage Fundraiser.”
Yes! In fact, we love to hear about children interacting and talking about what they are doing with others. Collected cash and checks can be brought to Packet Pickup on the Saturday before the race. You can also send checks to us at PO Box 34589, Bethesda, MD 20827.
Your packet must be picked up on Saturday however, a friend can collect it for you. You will not be able to race without your packet and we will NOT have them onsite Sunday morning.
