Training Schedules

The training calendars are designed to prepare the triathletes over the course of 8 weeks. There are 2 workouts per week and they can be altered by changing the speed and/or intensity by which they are completed. We strongly encourage all of our athletes to stay fit and healthy by exercising regularly. Ask our trainer any specific questions.

Day Before Race Checklist

Prior to the race, please make sure your child’s bike is in safe and proper working condition. Check the air in tires, that the chain is lubricated, and the seat is properly fastened. We will have support on site the morning of the race to pump tires or assist with any last minute bike-related issues.

  • Hydrate!

  • Attend Packet Pickup

  • Drop off bike and helmet (if applicable)

  • Pin race running bib to your shirt front

  • Affix racer number to bike

Race Day

Parents are restricted from entering transition before and during the race. There will be plenty of volunteers on hand to help your racer set up. The transition area will open once the last biker has returned. 

What To Wear

  • Bathing Suit

  • Running Shoes

  • Socks (optional)

  • Race shirt with bib pinned on the front

  • Sunscreen

  • Shorts (if applicable)

What To Bring

  • Goggles (optional)

  • Floatation device (if applicable)

  • Small towel

  • Bike  (if applicable)

  • Helmet (if applicable)

  • Water Bottle (optional)

  • Mask
