“Riley is 19 years old. She is a freshman at McDaniel college and gets to go with her younger sister. They started out living on campus but [not] after the cancer diagnosis. They share a car however Riley has not felt like driving lately. She also works at Outback Steakhouse in GlenBurnie, MD, [but] she hasn’t even [been] able to work in a few months. Riley goes on line and Raegan commutes. Both [are] still at McDaniel. Riley loves school, reading, organizing, marker coloring, going to the movies, going out to eat, hanging with her sister, cuddling with her cat, Honey. She Loves Sloths and is hoping to go to Costa Rica after she is done [with] treatment. She is an advocate for childhood cancer and had spoken and gone to several events to raise money for Child Hood cancer research for Johns Hopkins. She is often never found in her room while in the hospital because she is out making new friends with all the patients and getting them out to walk and drink their water. She is on top off all her meds and stays on top of her schoolwork. When at home she is could watching tv show’s/movies with her mom or playing with the farm of animals we have. 12 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 rabbit.”
