Jorja

Jorja

Jorja was 4 years old when she was diagnosed with ALL at UNC Children’s. Jorja was diagnosed shortly after she and her family moved to North Carolina. Mom is not working to provide care for Jorja and her sister, Savanna. Dad works as an architect with a small company but has missed a great deal of work for inpatient stays, and appointments. Due to lack of coverage or former private insurance, and the large medical bills accumulated from Jorja’s treatment, the patient was recently approved for Medicaid. The parents have been reluctant to ask for assistance.

Utilizing JUST TRYAN IT funds, a grant was immediately issued to cover their mortgage payment to help their family maintain access to treatment and to focus on Jorja’s care. Ben, Jorja’s dad wrote, “Thank you very much for the financial assistance! God has blessed us so much through this tough stretch with all of the support.”
