Tim Mooney Joins JUST TRYAN IT as Director of Development to change the world for families battling childhood cancer
(Monday, October 15, 2018, Bethesda, MD) JUST TRYAN IT is proud to announce the hiring of Timothy J. Mooney as director of development. Mooney is the former director of philanthropy of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington. He was also in development for the Department of Pediatrics at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for 13 years. Mooney will be charged with sponsorship development, grant writing and leading the charge to help take JUST TRYAN IT to the national level as growth continues.
JUST TRYAN IT raises money for families with children going through treatment for cancer. In addition to the cost of treatment, families face many indirect costs related to a cancer diagnosis. These indirect costs include: travel, lodging, meals, and childcare. Seventy-Two percent of families with a cancer diagnosis lose more than half their income.
